In this work we describe the experimental data of elastic scattering of 12C +16O in two ways: by the optical model with l-dependent kor and combined way. A good agreement was taken between the experimental data with calculations based on the proposed methods. From the analysis of experimental data on elastic scattering in a wide energy range have found global optical potential parameters of interaction.
The purpose of the given work is more exact description of the experimental data of elastic scattering of the systems 12C+16O at energies Elab = 15, 18, 21, 42.86, 49.28, 53.14, 56.57, 72.85, 85.71, 98.57, 111.4 MeV. The role exchange interaction in the range of back angles is investigated. The received values of coefficient of compressibility of nuclear matter are consistent from the data which obtained on the giant monopole resonance. To reproduce section in the rear hemisphere was accounted transfer α-cluster.

High-temperature gas-cooled reactor (HTGR) by two-thirds consists of graphite. Graphite is a moderator and reflector of neutrons, as well as the main structural material of the active zone, which allows operating the reactor at high temperatures Graphite is moderator and neutron reflector, and the main structural material of the core, allowing the reactor to operate at high temperatures. Nuclear fuel is a spherical microfuel, which are compressed into a graphite compact, from which fuel assemblies are then assembled. The Institute of Nuclear Physics of the Republic of Kazakhstan is working on the qualification of irradiated fuel HTGR. To study the properties of the irradiated fuel HTGR, it is necessary to extract microfuel from the graphite matrix. The paper presents the results of experiments on the electrochemical separation of graphite and unirradiated fuel HTGR.

RSE “Institute of Nuclear Physics” of the Ministry of Energy of the Republic of Kazakhstan, together with the Atomic Energy Agency of Japan over the years have been conducting research aimed at developing the technology of a hightemperature gas-cooled reactor (HTGR). This paper is devoted to the development of technology to study the properties of the irradiated fuel of the HTGR reactor. The object of research is the fuel elements of the HTGR reactor. Fuel cells contain particles, which is a spherical three-structured isotropic fuel with an outer diameter of 0.92 mm. Particles have a triple coating of pyrocarbon and silicon carbide. Particles pressed with a graphite matrix in a compact.
The objectives of the research include:
– external inspection and analysis of the size of the fuel compact;
– separation of particles from the graphite matrix;
– determination of the proportion of damaged particles;
– determination of uranium burnout.
Such studies are conducted at the institute for the first time. To accomplish the above tasks, it was necessary to develop a technology for handling irradiated nuclear fuel. The results obtained will be used to qualify the HTGR fuel in order to further increase the burnup of uranium in it.

The angular distributions of the elastic scattering of 20Ne ions by 12C nuclei were measured at the of heavy ions accelerator of DC-60 at energies Elab = 30 and 35 MeV. Experimental differential cross sections for energy Elab = 30 MeV are well reproduced within the framework of a standard optical model in a full angular range. At an energy of 20Ne 35 MeV, a diffraction structure is observed at large angles, which can not be explained either by potential scattering or by the exchange mechanism of the 8Be cluster transfer. The contribution of the exchange mechanism does not exceed 1%.

The astrophysical S factors for the radiative capture reaction 6Li(p, γ) 7Be in the region of ultralow energies were calculated on the basis of the R-matrix approach. The total width and the strength of the Ec.m.= 110 keV resonance were determined by fitting the theoretical calculations to new experimental data. The total width value of the J π = 3/2 + resonance state is obtained to be equal to Гtot = 248.0±25.0 keV and the resonances strengths values for the radiative transitions into the ground (J π = 3/2 - ) and first excited (J π = 1/2 - ) states are obtained to be similar and equal wγ=(8.3±0.1) eV. The contribution of direct radiative capture to the bound states of the 7Be nucleus was determined with the aid of asymptotic normalization coefficients obtained from an analysis of the reaction 6Li(3He, d) 7Be. A value of S(0)=70.2±12.0 eV b was obtained for the total astrophysical S factor.

Angular distributions of deuterons elastically and inelastically scattered on 7Li nuclei with excitation of the 0.478 МэВ (1/2) level and tritons from the 7Li(d, t) 6Li reaction, corresponding to transitions to the ground (J π = 1+) and low-lying excited states (3+ and 1+ ) of the 6Li nucleus were measured at the 25 MeV energy. The experimental data were analyzed within the coupled reaction channels. Extracted spectroscopic factors agree well with the theoretical predictions. It was shown that one-neuron pick-up mechanism dominates at small angles (up to 40°) and reaction occurs on the nuclear surface.
