Author Guidelines

Articles to be published in the journal are sent by authors after registration at the journal’s website in electronic form in MS WORD format (.docx), and after the decision to publish the article by the editorial board (at the end of the verification and review process) - and in the form of a printed copy of the final version of the article with the authors' consent to publication and their signatures (by mail, courier, etc. to the address of the editorial board).

The text is printed on A4 sheets (210 x 297 mm) with margins: top 30 mm; bottom 30 mm; left 20 mm; right 20 mm, using high-resolution printer (600-2400 dpi). Horizontal arrangement of the sheets is not allowed.

Use Times New Roman font with a height of 10 points. Please use the built-in heading styles (Heading 1, 2...) only for article titles and subsection headings, and do not use them for plain text, tables and image-related texts.

The UDC index must be indicated in the upper left corner of the first page. The title of the article is printed below in capital letters, in one paragraph. After that, the text of the short annotation is printed in the language of the article (100-3000 printed characters, including punctuation marks and spaces), and a separate line (after the phrase Keywords:) - keywords (5-10). Then, from the next paragraph - the main text.

The text of the article should be submitted in the IMRaD format (Introduction, Methods, Results and Discussion) in Russian, Kazakh or English.

After the text of the article there is a list of literature (in the original languages) and blocks "article title, annotation, keywords) in the two remaining languages.

Please note that it is not necessary to include the authors' names and the organizations represented in the article, since the articles undergo a double "blind" review. This information will need to be filled out in the form on the website when submitting an article.

Also, in the form on the website, you must fill out a transliterated list of references. The author can perform transliteration himself or with the help of online converters: from Russian to Latin - translit.net, from Kazakh to Latin - qazlat.kz. If the author does not have such an opportunity, this can be done by the editor of the journal.

Use single line spacing for article text, no empty paragraphs and lines need to be inserted between paragraphs.

Do not use tables to place illustrations and image-related texts, or use MS Word draw tools over illustrations.

The maximum permissible length of an article is 10 pages.

When writing articles, the following requirements should be observed:

  • The final version of the article, which has been reviewed and approved for publication, should contain blocks in three languages - Kazakh, English and Russian - indicating the title of the article, full name (first names and patronymics of the authors), the full name of the organizations, cities and countries of residence, which they represent, annotations (100-3000 printed marks) and keywords (5-10).
  • References to literary sources are given in the text of the article by numbers in square brackets [1] as they are mentioned. The bibliography is given by GOST 7.1-2003.
  • Please do not use MS Word's automatic numbering mechanism (fields) for numbering literature links, lists, figures and tables - use plain text;
  • Illustrations (schedules, schemes, charts) have to be executed on the computer (width of Figure 8 or 14 cm). The particular attention should be paid to the Figure text – they must be distinguishable when reduced to the above dimensions. Image files must be presented separately in one of the bit-maps - .tif, .png (for diagrams and figures with texts), .jpg (for photos) with a resolution of 300 dpi (~ 1000 px for Figures 8 cm wide and ~ 1800 px for Figures 14 cm wide) or vector - .svg, .wmf, .emf formats. File names must correspond to the position in the article (e.g. Figure 1-a.tiff). For texts in Figures, it is preferable to use an Arial Narrow font or the same (narrow font without ticks).
  • Mathematical formulas in the text should be typed as MS Word equations or MathType formulas. Only formulas that are referenced in the text should be numbered.
  • The text should be carefully checked and reviewed. The paper version of the article should be signed by the authors at the end.

Articles whose design does not meet these requirements are not allowed for publication.

The following documents are attached to the article:

  1. A cover letter from the authors, which should contain information that the article can be published in an open press, has not previously been published, is not under consideration for publication in other publications, the article does not contain information that can lead to a conflict of interest.
  2. Files of Figures.

The title of the article, abstract, keywords, as well as information about all the authors of the article are filled in 3 languages (Russian, Kazakh, English) in the form on the website when submitting the article, indicating the main author (usually the first in the list) and the author for contact.
